Une nouvelle étude préclinique met en évidence la combinaison unique de prébiotiques dérivés de la chicorée et d'oligosaccharides de lait maternel (HMO) pour améliorer la santé intestinale des tout-petits
Une nouvelle étude préclinique, menée par Pudenz et al. , démontre que la combinaison de fructanes - de type inuline et dérivés de la chicorée - avec de l’oligosaccharide de lait maternel (HMO), le 2’-fucosyllactose (2’-FL), entraîne des effets additifs, voire synergiques, sur le microbiote intestinal des tout-petits. Cette étude - l'une des premières à tester différentes combinaisons de prébiotiques issus de racine de chicorée avec du 2'-FL - renforce les arguments en faveur de l'utilisation de mélanges de prébiotiques dans les préparations lactées afin de favoriser la santé intestinale des jeunes enfants, avec des bienfaits potentiels à long terme pour les fonctions digestives et immunitaires.
