SABIC previews K2025 experience: innovative solutions Connecting Everyday Life

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, June 16, 2025 - At K 2025, SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, will unveil innovative solutions to help customers develop products that have an impact in everyday life, in line with SABIC’s theme for this edition: “Connecting Everyday Life”.

Sami Al-Osaimi, Executive Vice President, Polymers Business at SABIC said: “We are excited to present products that enhance everyday life by seamlessly integrating our cutting-edge material solutions, technology and consumer-centric approach. We help enable electrification, foster design freedom, advance recyclability, and the use of renewable materials and energy, all contributing to the evolution of products used daily by consumers, businesses, and industries around the world.”

Visitors will be able to explore five core experience areas across five markets - live, move, work, shop and care:

  • LIVE: SABIC materials used in the state-of-the-art appliances, consumer electronics, smart devices, advanced connectivity, 5G access and energy storage for EV mobility can support improving home life. SABIC’s innovations can support energy efficiency, connectivity, design and comfort for living area applications.
  • MOVE: SABIC will spotlight how its materials are helping to transform daily transportation - from road to rail and air. Exhibits will demonstrate how advanced thermoplastics and technology platforms can help unlock new levels of design freedom and part integration, while advancing circularity goals with solutions that help drive closed-loop systems and reduce lifecycle emissions.
  • WORK: From industrial areas to office buildings, explore how SABIC’s solutions are used to produce high-performing, durable infrastructure components - from pipes for domestic, industrial and agriculture/aquaculture to high-voltage cables for renewable energy networks that can help accelerate energy transition.
  • SHOP: Displays will focus on the use of circular polymers (including products based on recovered ocean-bound plastic), bio-renewable polymers to help reduce carbon footprint and closed-loop solutions. Examples aim to offer recyclability, functionality, convenience and extended shelf life to meet consumer demand.
  • CARE: SABIC’s dedicated healthcare product portfolio to address patient care and safety in novel applications including drug delivery, ophthalmology, blood management and personal protection. Visitors will also be able to discover how SABIC is supporting to innovate in healthcare through circular solutions to help address the challenge of medical plastic waste.
