techtextil Frankfurt is a leading international exhibiton for technical textiles and nonwovens. It assembles all vertical aspects of the technical textile industry. From research and development, through raw materials and production processes and finally ending in conversion, further treatment and recycling. Also a lot of applications of technical textiles and nonwovens in research, industry, architecture and many other areas are presented. The fair will be complemented by the techtextil-Symposium and the Avantex Symposium as well as the techtextil Innovation Award, the Avantex Innovation Award and a student competition called "Textile Strukturen für neues Bauen".
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 09. May to 12. May 2017, about 1477 exhibitors from 55 countries and 33670 visitors from 104 countries on the techtextil in Frankfurt.
