Victrex Europa strengthens its organisation for Italy
Victrex Europa GmbH has reorganised its business structure in response to changes in the markets it serves and the strong rise in demand for PEEK™ polymer.
Since November 2001 Reinhard Veljovic is responsible as Manager Italy for the sales and market development of this important region. He will be supported from our European headquarters in Hofheim, Germany, by Sales Assistant Diana Weber.
Previously the Italian customers were served through our distributing partner, LATI Industria Thermoplastici, who laid the foundation for a highly promising expansion. Now, with its own team, Victrex Europa is concentrating on strengthening co-operation directly with new end users and processors.
Based on meeting identified needs, we believe that these structural changes will lead to us better serve the needs of our customers and partners throughout Italy.
Reinhard Veljovic,
born 17.12.49, joined the European Team from June 1998 and was prior to his new role responsible for the market development in northern Germany and Benelux. Prior to Victrex he was sales manager Europe for 3P-Plastic Omnium and also spend many years in Italy in the PTFE business.
Diana Weber,
born 08.08.76, joined the European Team from July, 1st and will be responsible as inside sales for Italy and France. Prior to Victrex she worked for Degussa and mg-Technologies and is fluent in English, French and Italian.
