Vencorex extends its Tolonate™ range

Vencorex is a new Joint Venture with a long experience and an historical track record in the coating market. Former part of Rhodia, then Perstorp, the company portfolio includes the Easaqua™ and Tolonate™ ranges, products with a solid reputation of quality. Vencorex is the owner of key technologies and a major producer of isocyanates (TDI, HDI, IPDI, and their derivatives) used in polyurethane coatings, adhesives, elastomers and inks. With the launching of the new Tolonate™ X FLO 100 at the upcoming European Coatings Show in Nuremberg, the company continues to extend its well known high quality Tolonate™ and Easaqua™ ranges.

Tolonate™ HDT-LV and HDT-LV2, are low viscosity crosslinkers, which enable the formulation of high-solids, low VOC coatings, showing exceptional durability, excellent appearance, chemical and mechanical resistance. They are widely used in very demanding applications, such as automotive clearcoats or aerospace topcoats formulations,
Based on a unique patented technology, the Easaqua™ grades are self-emulsifiable polyisocyanates, used as crosslinkers of effective environmentally-friendly waterborne polyurethane alternatives to conventional solvent-based coatings and adhesives. The latest addition of the range, Easaqua™ XL 600 is specifically designed to meet coatings producers’ highest demands for humidity resistance. It combines the best-in-class balance between low viscosity and high NCO content, meeting market’s need for low VOC systems and the ease of mixing that the Easaqua™ range is already widely appreciated for.

Through the extension of high solids, waterborne and low viscosity grades, Vencorex aims to develop alternative environmentally-friendly technologies and new materials to yield savings in energy, time and money through improved productivity.
