Univar named distributor for Celanese Mowilith® products

Univar Ltd. has been appointed by Celanese as a UK distributor for its Mowilith® range of emulsions and emulsion powders. The appointment, effective December 1, confirms Univar as an official distributor of Mowilith products throughout the UK and their sole distributor to the coatings, building and construction market.

Celanese AG is a global chemicals company with leading positions in its key products and world-class process technology. The Mowilith product range is based on acrylic, vinyl acetate and styrenic acrylic technologies and is used in a variety of applications spanning decorative and industrial paints, inks, adhesives, building products and sealants.

According to Gina Walker, Technical Development Manager of Univar’s Coatings, Construction & Composites Division: “The addition of Mowilith emulsions and emulsion powders to our product basket is a significant development. It enables us to offer customers in key sectors an extended range of material solutions from a single source. Naturally existing customers for these products are assured of continuity of supply and quality of service.”
