A first for Germany, Tritium is showcasing its new Veefil-PK High Power Charging System at the show – a scalable, flexible system for commercial operators, capable of delivering an EV charge up to 475kW.

Tritium is a fast-moving technology company specializing in the design and manufacture of DC fast-charging solutions for electric vehicles (EV).

In June, IONITY chose Tritium as its technology partner to supply a bespoke 350kW HPC solutions to 100 high-power charging sites across Germany, France, UK, Norway and Sweden, taking advantage of the company’s unique technology and the considerable benefits and cost savings it provides network operators.

Additionally, Tritium will be showing its award-winning Veefil-RT 50kW DC fast charger that has made a major impact on the European market since its launch in 2014. The success of the Veefil-RT as a fast charger for both single sites and charging corridors, has enabled Tritium to take around 50% of the Norwegian market and around 15% of the wider European market for 50kW fast chargers

World’s first high-power chargers from Tritium go into operation for IONITY in Germany

The first 12 high-power chargers (HPC) from Tritium, the leading international specialist in DC charging infrastructure solutions for the electric vehicle (EV) market, have been put into operation at the Tank & Rast rest stops at Brohltal Ost and West either side of the A61 highway in Germany. These 12 charging stations form part of a planned pan-European network of around 400 HPC stations for IONITY that will ensure EV drivers can always find a charging station within the next 120 km.

Tritium signs deal with IONITY for 100 high-power charging sites across Europe

IONITY has chosen Tritium as its technology partner for the construction of 100 high-power charging sites across Germany, France, UK, Norway and Sweden. The dedicated electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will have an average of up to six user units, each capable of delivering 350 kW of power for fast charging of modern EVs. All equipped with the Combined Charging System (CCS) used by a wide range of vehicle manufactures.
