Dynisco HotRunners to Become Independent Operating Unit

Gloucester, MA - Dynisco HotRunners has announced that it will become an independent operating entity, while remaining within the Berwind Group. This follows Berwind’s announcement that it has sold the Measurement and Control businesses of Dynisco, Inc. to Madison Capital Partners of Chicago, IL.

The Berwind Group’s plans to retain the HotRunners business unit include supporting and increasing investment in new technologies for the injection molding industry.

A primary initiative will be the successful global launch of the new patented technology, Dynamic Feed™. Tom Clements, Global President and CEO, says “The Global Executive Leadership team is committed to strengthening the company’s global position. Our primary objective will be finding innovative technologies that continually improve the plastic melt distribution and flow control in the injection molding process. Clements expects no disruption in business and added, “Our customers can expect to experience a higher level of sales, service and support as we renew our focus and energies on the core hot runner business”. Dynisco HotRunners had been operating as a stand alone business unit for the past 18 months under the Dynisco Corporate structure.
