Stonesoft Announces Technology Partnership with SafeNet

Stonesoft Corporation (HEX: SFT1V), an innovative provider of integrated network security and business continuity, today announced a technology partnership with SafeNet Inc (NASDAQ: SFNT) setting the standard for information security.

The partnership means that SafeNet’s iKey USB Smart Tokens can now be used with StoneGate VPN Client for strong authentication using digital signatures. StoneGate VPN Client can be easily configured to use a personalized iKey Smart Token for authentication. iKey stores user's certificate and in particular user's private key. It performs the private key operations required to generate a digital signature securely within the token.
