Songwon appoints new Sales Director for the Middle East and Africa

Ulsan, Korea – November 24, 2009 – Songwon Industrial Co. Ltd., a global leader in polymer additives, announces that Peter Fleming has been appointed Sales Director, Middle East and Africa.

As Songwon continues to meet its strategic agenda to develop geographical coverage and service levels to anticipate customers’ quality and logistic requirements, a new headquarters for the Middle East and Africa region, located in Bahrain, has been opened and will be led by Peter Fleming.

Peter has held a number of key positions at Chemtura Corporation, formerly Great Lakes Chemicals, where he led their Asia Pacific business as well as having product, sales and distribution management experience in the EMEA region. Prior to that Peter was responsible for a number key commercial activities also in Asia Pacific and EMEA for Polysar Corporation which was acquired by Bayer AG. Most recently Peter has put his unique experience to good use as a management consultant at Oriental Pacific Consulting PTE Ltd.
