Hands-on training knowledge at Interplas 05
Interplas 05, the UK's plastics and rubber exhibition, is set to feature an extensive zone of practical-based training at the show called the Training Workshop Centre.
'Our vision is to have a place where visitors can have their practical moulding and machinery issues and problems tackled there and then by exhibiting experts in these areas,' says Chris James, Marketing Manager for the show. 'The practical, hands-on approach of the Training Centre will also complement the commercial information offered in the show's three marketing zones.'
The training move at Interplas 05 is based on research that has identified a need to enhance the workplace with a set of troubleshooting skills. 'We recognise that the best plastics processors understand their people are their most significant asset: NVQ and other qualifications, for example, are fast becoming part of a desired package for a well motivated and managed company workforce in the plastics sector,' says James, 'and the Training Workshop Centre will do its part in ensuring that Interplas 05 delivers value to the shop floor as well as to purchasers and managers,' he adds.
Plastics manufacturing solutions will be demonstrated that can be directly implemented in the workplace. Effective and straightforward advice on machine and mould maintenance, setting, changeovers and other production basics will be included in the workplace techniques on show at Interplas 05.
The Training Workshop Centre will be situated in Hall 4 at the NEC and is set to attract the leading elements in machinery technology and machine-based training.
