Interplas surfs wave of confidence

Ian Crawford, Exhibition Director of Interplas, echoed the sentiments of this week’s closely watched Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) survey which suggests the sector is not just recovering but enjoying strong growth.

Commenting on the news Crawford said “July has been a very strong month for Interplas. We are enjoying a tremendous commitment to the show as companies whose confidence has been buoyed by an increase in new orders, look to continue this long awaited upward trend by marketing themselves at Interplas.”

Crawford went on to say, “ The feeling of returning confidence in the market is tangible. The increase in the CIPS/Reuters index has been driven by a strong growth in new orders particularly in the domestic market this data twinned with figures showing the fastest manufacturing growth since 1996 all show that this positive outlook is justified.

“Interplas is perfectly timed to help the plastic and rubber industry take advantage of this welcomed rest bite. In October 2005 at the NEC, when the Interplas doors open I firmly believe it will be to an audience of buyers hungry to buy new machines, materials and equipment to meet an urgent demand for increased manufacturing capacity in their facilities.”
