Perstorp Potassium Formate: now an EU-registered fertilizer

Malmö August 18, 2021 - Perstorp Potassium Formate (PoFO) is now registered as a fertilizer, fulfilling the requirements outlined in EC 2002/2003. With this EU registration Perstorp makes it easier for farmers to improve both crop quality and yields as there is no longer a need for local raw material registration when using PoFo based fertilizers, like Amicult^™ K 42.

Potassium is an essential nutrient which has a positive impact on crop yields. Potassium chloride has long been the most common solution in fertilization. However, as chlorides have a negative impact on vegetable yield and soil health, there is an increased demand for chloride-free solutions. These solutions often involve compromise, whether that’s on cost or formulation disadvantages. Perstorp Amicult K 42, based on Potassium Formate, represents a real alternative – increasing crop yield without compromise. Amicult K42 is a product that improves your foliar uptake rate and minimize clogging in irrigation systems. And now without having to apply for local registration before use.
