Case Unplugged?

London 26 September 2003. A unique portable CD player case has been announced today by Path Group PLC, the UK distributor of Case Logic products. The innovative new ‘SDM4’ features a patented exterior headphone socket allowing headphones to be attached or removed without opening the case.

Developed and manufactured by Case Logic, the worldwide brand leader in portable audio accessories, the SDM4 makes using a portable CD player on the move easy whilst keeping it safe and protected from the elements. The external audio socket has a jack lead connected that plugs into the headphone socket of the portable CD player inside the case. In addition, there is a convenient view window which allows the user to access the controls on the CD player without taking the player out of it case, making it the most user friendly CD player case on the market.

For convenience, and to cut down on weight and case size, the SDM4 features four highly protective, soft non-abrasive slots, allowing four CDs to be carried without the need for bulky and heavy jewel cases or a CD Wallet. The SDM4 also comes with belt loops and a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap for increased portability.
