Omnexus Adds Lesley Brown To European Sales Team

ZURICH, Switzerland (April 4, 2002) - Omnexus, the global plastics eMarketplace created by the plastics industry for the plastics industry, has announced the addition of Lesley Brown to its European sales team. Lesley joins Omnexus with a strong background in both plastics and e-commerce from BASF, an Omnexus founding member.

In her role as commercial manager, Lesley leads sales and marketing initiatives for Omnexus throughout the region including the United Kingdom and the Nordic countries of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Lesley’s fluency in both English and German will enable her to directly connect with suppliers and customers in the region to communicate the benefits of Omnexus, which currently allows customers to procure online through a single interface from more than 20 major global suppliers. During her tenure with BASF, Lesley served in various roles in internal and external sales, and was heavily involved in the company’s recent e-commerce project leading to the development of the BASF Plastics portal.

Lesley will be based in Manchester, joining a European sales team led by Müller based in Zurich, Switzerland, global headquarters for Omnexus. The company’s North American headquarters are located in Atlanta.
