Nedschroef Herentals: New focus on customer service

Nedschroef Herentals, leading manufacturer of machines for the production of formed metal parts, has announced that it has placed a new strategic focus on providing unmatched customer service.

In a statement, Donald Eshuis, CEO, said: “Industry continues to look for maximum effectiveness of investments. On the one hand, production equipment is becoming increasingly more complex, yet at the same time it has to deliver a more reliable performance.

“Nedschoef Herentals has a long-standing reputation for producing reliable, high quality, low maintenance machinery. We believe that by offering dedicated customer SERVICE and technical SOLUTIONS, delivered by in-house engineering specialists, we can help deliver even better returns on customers’ investments.”

To underline the new commitment, Nedschroef Herentals has made a new key appointment effective immediately: Guy Kempen takes up the newly created post of Manager Service & Technology, being responsible to maintain the high level of service and technical solutions to all customers.

New products

In addition, the Company is expanding its product offering. Besides the existing NEDMAX range of machines for high-end use, the company will shortly be introducing its new range of NEDFORM Basic machines, to widen its range of manufacturing solutions. NEDFORM Basic will enable customers to determine the machines ergonomics as well as the degree of automation required.

Donald Eshuis indicated that the new strategy is already being implemented successfully: “In recent months a team of engineers has visited a number of manufacturing plants in various parts of the world. By talking to our customers operating Nedschroef’s high-end production equipment, we are able to assess the overall performance of our machines – and by visiting their plants, we can see for ourselves where adjustments need to be made, both now and in the future.”

He added: “Our first actions have been well-received by customers, who appreciate the more personal approach. However, far from being a simple fact-finding mission, this is merely the beginning of a renewed focus on customer needs.”

Donald Eshuis expects a lot from the NEDFORM Basic series. “With the configuration of the Nedform Basic we have chosen for a new and more straightforward approach. We have made these machines more affordable for a broader market segment without compromising on functionality and yet at the same time we can also still satisfy our most demanding customers. We are convinced that the Nedform Basic will give us the edge in a competitive world.”

Nedschroef Herentals will be presenting its new NEDFORM Basic on the Wire 2006 show in Dusseldorf coming April.
