Eastman Chemical Company shows full product range at K'2001

At K'2001 in Düsseldorf, Eastman Chemical Company, will demonstrate it’s full range of plastics resins for a number of industries, from automotive to telecommunications to packaging at booth number 5G03 in Hall 5.

New products include TITAN Liquid Crystal Polymers, a range of high temperature engineering polymers, developed specifically for highly demanding thin-wall applications, and EASTAR BIO, a newly developed biodegradable co-polyester with many opportunities across a range of industries.

Other products on display include PROVISTA co-polyester for extrusion of profiles, replacing both PVC and PC, SPECTAR co-polyester and DURASTAR copolymer, Eastman's newest and clearest co-polyester specifically developed for the injection molding process.

Eastman will also demonstrate it’s new EASTAPAK CB11E polymer for carbonated soft drinks that provides improved efficiencies in perform and bottle production. Bottles made with this new resin deliver improved barrier properties, longer shelf life and faster blow-molding cycle time.

Other PET polymers for packaging include EASTAPAK AQUA polymer for water packaging, ELEGANTE polymer for cosmetics packaging, HEATWAVE polymer for hotfill applications, and AMBERGUARD PET for beer packaging.

There will also be an opportunity to see the latest applications using EASTAR co-polyester used to package many household brands and top consumer products in Europe - and in the world today.
