Distrupol Ireland adds to its medical portfolio
The addition of the recently launched Eltex® MED Polyolefins from INEOS has given further depth to the medical materials portfolio of Distrupol Ireland. This latest line comprises PP (homopolymers, impact copolymers and random copolymers), HDPE and LDPE grades.
"With the addition of these materials,” says Derek Watts, Business Development and Technical Manager, Distrupol Ireland, “we're now in a position to offer guaranteed continuity of formulation and supply (two years minimum), together with full regulatory approvals and support. This assurance is essential in supporting our medical customer base, for which a long validation period and high R&D costs are the norm."
Specially formulated for the pharmaceutical and medical market, the Eltex MED range finds applications in syringes, inhalers, IV bottles, single dose ampoules, containers, caps and closures, as well as for a range of film products.
Along with its newest additions, Distrupol Ireland supports the country’s medical market with technical services and a full range of polymers compliant with European Pharmacopeia, US Pharmacopeia and Drug Master File registration, from leading suppliers that include DuPont and INEOS NOVA.
