Aqualen® Top GC-2031.B −
Modern topcoat for classic leather articles
Muttenz, 6 June 2011 – Fashion always pushes forward — busy, expressive and wide ranging. Classic, on the other hand, is its virtual opposite: quiet, discreet and constant. Classic leather articles, therefore, are probably less visible at shows or on catwalks, but always highly in demand.
Developed especially for classic shoe upper and handbag leathers, noted for their elegance and durability, is Clariant’s Aqualen® Top GC-2031.B. This aqueous compound is a very well balanced mix of polymers and additives to achieve the highest gloss levels while maintaining the natural appearance of the leather. Aqualen® Top GC-2031.B does not need any other addition than a crosslinker and water. Its main characteristics are:
• Easy to use
• Very high gloss
• Natural feel
• Plate-ability at high temperature
• Good rub and flexometer values
• Good inter-adhesion
Aqualen® Top GC-2031.B: You will be impressed. Please pass it on.
