Case Logic announces new enhancements to DVD wallet, home storage and case range
Case Logic has launched a new programme of DVD and portable DVD Player storage solutions to help the sophisticated consumer organize and retrieve DVDs, and store the DVD player in the home or on the move.
The range of storage wallets offers a practical way for users to protect and access growing DVD collections. Robust padding and weather-resistant outer material provide effective protection of the contents. Inside, patented ProSleeves™ prevent the discs from being scratched when filed or retrieved. Currently the range is composed of three models – DVN-10 and DVN-80 in black nylon and DVB-40 available in black koskin. Additional features on the DVN-80 are the patented Fast-File™, folio-style organization system, allowing selected ‘priority’ discs to be stored at the front of the wallet, and Quick-Lock™, Case Logic’s patented moveable page system allowing convenient alphabetic organization.
Also new, a range of multimedia tower-racks provides an easy and aesthetically appealing means of storing and rearranging DVDs at home. With a sleek, contemporary design, the units are ideal for all forms of entertainment carried by the format, including video games. The three models – the DVR15, DWT72 and DWT108 - hold 15, 72 and 108 discs respectively. The latter two models offer adjustable storage for CDs as well.
Completing the new programme, a compact, thickly padded and multi-functional case, PDVK-3, allows the user to use the DVD player when on the move, and securely transport the hardware along with a number of discs.
The case holds DVD players up to nine inches (22.8 cm) wide. An adjustable buckle attachment suspension system allows the case to be attached with ease to most automobile seat-backs. Also, a sturdy hook-and-loop harness, attached to the main compartment, safely secures the DVD player while in use or stored. The case includes soft accessory pockets, so that up to four DVDs can be held in soft, secure accessory pockets, each with a protective flap.
Case Logic has become renowned for stylish solutions that protect and store high-value electronic hardware and data – at home, at work, or on the move. The company puts emphasis on quality, developing accessories that make sure ‘what’s inside survives’ –
a requirement of growing importance as companies and avant-garde consumers seek sophisticated ways to protect their data.
Mr. Emmanuel de Blommaert, director of sales, marketing and product development of Case Logic Europe, comments: “Adoption of the DVD, for entertainment and storage of business data, has become widespread and portable hardware for the format is increasingly affordable. This new range of accessory items recognises the need for more efficient ways of storing and accessing the format as DVD collections accumulate and society becomes increasingly mobile.”
