Reglit Glass Architecture has been successfully installing the Pilkington Profilit glazing system within the UK and Ireland since 1982. Working with Cabot Corporation, a global manufacturer of specialty chemicals and materials, they have developed a new exciting system that provides extensive energy saving benefits to the end user while still allowing the designer to be creative.

With the introduction of Nanogel, a revolutionary insulation material, Reglit has created a glazing system that maximizes the insulation performance, light transmittance and resistance to condensation.

Nanogel is a translucent aerogel, an exceptionally lightweight insulating material. Manufactured exclusively by the Cabot Corporation through a patented process, Nanogel is a highly light transmissive, nanoporous material, and is permanently hydrophobic, making it both moisture and mildew resistant.

Pilkington Profilit is a translucent glazing system that permits exciting architectural effects. It is a simple concept of self-supporting glass channels within an extruded aluminium perimeter frame permitting a cost-effective cladding system adaptable to almost any building design.
