The product portfolio ranges from copper and fiberoptic cables as well as connectors and IO modules to network devices and control systems for load indication and load moment limitation. Belden EMEA, with production sites in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Denmark, Italy, the Czech Republic and Hungary, is represented by subsidiaries in more than 15 countries in Europe, the Middle East, the USA and in Asia. It also has a network of contract partners on all five continents. In 2007 Belden EMEA achieved sales of approximately 550 million Euros with more than 2,200 employees worldwide.

The Cable Infrastructure division which is formed by Belden Europe is a leading provider of data transmission products. This includes copper and fiberoptic cables, connectors as well as systems for cable installation and for Power over Ethernet. In addition, Belden Europe offers components for structured cabling, housings and switch cabinets in its wide range of accessories. All systems and components have a high quality standard and are extremely reliable.

HEW-Kabel represents the Cable Specialty division and has an extensive product portfolio for use in the high and low temperature range as well as in applications in which miniaturization, flexibility and a very long life are necessary. The cables meet both the special requirements of the customers as well as national and international standards. They are used among other things in the automotive industry, traffic control technology, the energy sector, the chemical industry and almost all areas of automation.

The Industrial Connecting Solutions division, formed by Lumberg Automation and the connector division of Hirschmann, offers a wide range of wiring solutions such as distribution systems and field bus components which are used in almost all areas of automation. In addition, the division has a wide range of connectors that includes both products for actuator and sensor technology and for industrial machine and plant production as well as for building installation and wiring of photovoltaic systems. Together Hirschmann and Lumberg Automation are amongst the biggest providers of industrial connectors in Europe.

The Industrial Networking division which is represented by the network division of Hirschmann is currently the only provider on the market to offer a complete product program for homogeneous data communication with Industrial Ethernet. This includes Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches as well as industrial security and WLAN systems that provide a uniform, company-wide communications infrastructure without interface problems and media discontinuities. The service range is rounded off by fiber interfaces for fieldbus systems such as Profibus, Modbus or Genius Bus.

With its control systems for load indication and load moment limitation marketed under the brand names HIRSCHMANN, PAT and KRÜGER the Electronic Control Systems division has taken up a leading position in the global market of mobile plant automation. The line up focuses on control systems, consoles, geometry and force sensors which enhance the availability, cost efficiency and, most notably, the safety of cranes, construction machines, and a large number of other types of mobile plant.
