NEW FASSON DURABLES EXACT-- UL-RECOGNISED LABELSTOCKS IN EXACT ROLL WIDTHS FOR ORDERS OF JUST 100M²

Leiden, The Netherlands - Avery Dennison has made a significant strategic enhancement to the service platform for its range of specialty Fasson Durables self-adhesive film labelstocks. Across an initial range of 11 popular polyester products, label printers can now order the precise roll widths needed for a specific application, with no requirement to purchase offcut rolls, for a minimum order quantity of 100m² – just one roll.

Tailored to industry needs

Driving this initiative are the needs of label printers across Europe who specialise in the durable goods market – electronic, automotive, and domestic appliances and other electrical goods. For such products or their component parts, safety, warning, identification, and electrical rating plate labels are required by law. These labels must last the life of the manufactured products themselves – typically in excess of three years – and must meet stringent manufacturing and performance criteria. These are the criteria met by Fasson Durables.

Approved to international safety standards

Fasson Durables offer film facestocks that are dimensionally stable, and withstand outside influences such as high temperatures and chemical ingress. They are partnered with specialist adhesives that meet the needs of both the substrate to be labelled and the service environment. All are listed in the automotive industry's IMDS Database, and recognised to UL969, the international standard for labelling electrical and electronic goods.
