Amrop International expands its operations in Brussels in line with increasing customer demand

Brussels, October 1, 2008 - Amrop International, a member of the global Amrop Hever Group, one of the world’s largest executive search organisations, is expanding the team in Brussels with two new members: Carine Chisu and Saida El Maslouhi.

Carine joins the team as Partner and has a background in HR, sales and administration both in the private and public sectors. She graduated from the Catholic University in Leuven in Roman languages and obtained an International MBA in General Management at the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. Most recently, as a Business Development Manager for Expectra Group, she was responsible for commercial development.

After an international experience in Italy, working for a representation office of the European Union, she held different positions to become Director of the Study Advisory Office of the KU Leuven in 2004. Her executive search career started with Drouot Consultants where she successfully recruited professionals in commercial, marketing, financial and supply chain positions in the retail, FMCG, luxury goods, and financial services sector.

Saida El Maslouhi, has become a specialized Consultant for the pharmaceutical, medical devices, diagnostics and analytical industries. Saida is a graduate of the Catholic University of Leuven.

Having gained a Master degree in Biomedical Sciences with a major in Developmental Biology/Rheumatology, she successfully completed an International Masters in Molecular Medicine Biotechnology at the University of Ghent (option Patent Law).

Saida has held a number of positions as a National Clinical Research Associate at PPD and Quintiles-Innovex achieving the position of Senior International Clinical Research Associate at SGS where she led a number of research studies for the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries.

Saida joins Amrop with two years commercial experience as Sales Manager within the Expectra Group where she successfully developed a recruitment, selection and outsourcing department for Life Sciences professionals.
