ECOPHIT® RADIANT COOLING/ CHILLED CEILING SYSTEM DEMONSTRATES CONSIDERABLE ENERGY SAVINGS THROUGH FIRST APPLICATION PROJECT IN DUBAI
Meitingen, November 26, 2014 - SGL Lindner, the provider of energy-efficient complete solutions for building temperature control, has revealed that the first application of its ECOPHIT® chilled ceiling technology in Dubai is currently provi-ding practical proof that radiant cooling technology can be totally effective and environmentally friendly at desert ambient temperatures of 40 to 50°C.

ECOPHIT® CHILLED CEILING SYSTEM SAVES ENERGY WHILE MAINTAINING IDEAL THERMAL COMFORT
Meitingen, September 3rd, 2014 - A recently conducted feasibility study in Singapore concluded that air conditioning energy consumption can be reduced by 26% using an ECOPHIT® chilled ceiling system instead of a conventional air-conditioning system. In the course of the study, the authors also noted that even higher total energy savings of 36% could be achieved when back-end systems are optimized.

The Green Cities Forum 2014, held on June 20th in Pune, is organised by Elets Tech-nomedia and is designed to engage and promote the efforts of experts and influencers driving the Green building movement in India. The award was granted to this eco-friendly carbon-based radiant cooling system for the way it was successfully applied in a ceiling construction, using ECOPHIT® panels, achieving multiple green benefits. The award also recognises the material’s significant contribution in earning credits towards both the DGNB® and LEED® certifications.
