BENEO inaugure une nouvelle usine de transformation de légumineuses
BENEO, l’un des principaux fabricants d’ingrédients fonctionnels pour l’alimentation humaine et animale ainsi que pour les produits pharmaceutiques, a officiellement inauguré sa première usine de transformation de légumineuses, après seulement un an et demi de travaux de construction. Cette nouvelle usine est le fruit d’un investissement d’environ 50 millions d’euros réalisé par le groupe Südzucker, auquel appartient BENEO, sur son site allemand d’Obrigheim, en Rhénanie-Palatinat. Des légumineuses, telles que la féverole locale, y sont transformées en ingrédients pour la production de denrées alimentaires et d’aliments pour animaux. Pour marquer l’occasion, une cérémonie d’inauguration spéciale s’est tenue le 11 avril en présence de Daniela Schmitt (ministre des affaires économiques de Rhénanie-Palatinat), Nicole Eicher (maire d’Obrigheim), Dr Niels Pörksen (CEO du Groupe Südzucker), Olivier Roques (CEO de BENEO GmbH), Niels E. Hower (Member of the Executive Board de BENEO GmbH) et Dirk Dinger (président du conseil d’entreprise de l’usine d’Obrigheim).
