La serie 600 es la más grande de la gama corazón-abierto de Rapid de molinos de fácil acceso. Permiten reducir hasta el 50% los tiempos de mantenimiento y limpieza, sin comprometer la seguridad o la calidad del triturado.

Rapid Granulator lanza la nueva generación de molinos sin rejilla de la serie 100
Friedrichshafen, Alemania – 14 de Octubre, 2008 – Hoy en Fakuma 2008, Rapid Granulator descubre su siguiente generación de molinos sin rejilla de la serie 100 con sistema IMD integral. La nueva serie 100 es una familia de ocho modelos básicos que van desde el muy pequeño 100-xx, pensado para el triturado de coladas y rechazos minúsculos, al 100-75 Twin, capaz de triturar piezas inyectadas muy grandes como salpicaderos y parachoques. De vital importancia para los procesadores es la integración a estos molinos de última generación de la más avanzada tecnología para protegerles de cualquier daño y asegurara la seguridad del operario, aumentando capacidad y mantenimiento simplificado.

BAE’S PROTECH ARMORED PRODUCTS INTRODUCES ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT PROTECTIVE HELMETS MADE WITH DYNEEMA® UD TO US MARKET
URMOND (NL), 14 October 2008 - DSM Dyneema today announced that Protech Armored Products, a BAE Systems Products Group company, is marketing protective helmets made with ultra-strong Dyneema® HB26 unidirectional (UD) composite in the United States. The Denver Police Department in Colorado is the first U.S. organization to adopt the new Protech Delta LT helmets. This model meets National Institute of Justice (NIJ) IIIA specifications and is 15 percent lighter in weight than comparable 100 percent aramid helmets. The Denver Police Department's selection of Protech helmets reflects the growing demand for Dyneema® UD in life protection materials. Additional capacity in both yarn and UD (unidirectional) material used in personal and vehicle protection has been brought on stream at its Greenville, North Carolina, facility. DSM Dyneema is on target to double global capacity for UD in 2009, as part of a USD 450 million investment announced earlier.

New highly transparent LSR types for automotive LED lens systems

Momentive Performance Materials presents a new line of highly transparent liquid silicon rubber (LSR) for innovative optical applications. These new materials are characterised by their high transparency (up to 95%), low opaqueness and excellent physical stability. Therefore the material is of interest for the manufacture of ancillary LED lenses in the automotive applications.
