DOMO Chemicals presents a new optimized workflow simulation tool for predicting the effects of water and glycol-based coolants on heating, sanitary and automotive parts for their entire lifespan
As part of a collaborative project with Toyota (TME), Renault, SOGEFI, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, and AROBAS Technologies, among others, DOMO Chemicals introduces a brand-new workflow simulation tool for polyamide parts in contact with water and coolant. This THERMOFIP workflow enables the prediction of parts resistance evolution after aging, supporting designers in shaping the right geometries for their new parts without the need for numerous tests.

Syensqo’s Kallo-Beveren production facility in Belgium has successfully achieved carbon neutrality by running exclusively on renewable energy. The facility produces Syensqo’s Ryton® polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) specialty polymer compounds.
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, today announced its collaboration with Cybershield, Inc., a U.S. supplier of metalized plastic components, to advance the use of plated ULTEM™ resins in aerospace applications. Through this collaboration, which will be featured at the upcoming NPE2024 and the 2024 Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), SABIC’s team shared with Cybershield their extensive expertise on injection molding of high-heat ULTEM resins. This training prepared Cybershield for successfully molding ULTEM 2310 resin into backshells for electrical connectors that are well suited for use in used in audiovisual (AV) control modules for commercial aircraft.
