Syensqo to supply circular Duradex™ PPSU ECHO for Pigeon’s SofTouch™ baby bottles
Syensqo, a leading global provider of high-performance materials and chemical solutions, is pleased to announce that Pigeon Corporation has decided to use its circular Duradex™ polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) ECHO for their premium SofTouch™ nursing bottles. This high-purity food-contact polymer is produced with 38% certified circular feedstock, attributed by mass balance and verified under the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS regime.

Mondi successfully starts up recycled containerboard machine in Duino, Italy

Mondi's ProVantage containerboard paper grades range, available in both brown and white, ensures that businesses can meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging without compromising on performance. From fully recycled to 100% fresh fibre, the containerboard papers provide a strong foundation for corrugated packaging and are also well-suited for applications like honeycomb structures and fibre drums.
BENEO, l’un des principaux fabricants d’ingrédients fonctionnels pour l’alimentation humaine et animale ainsi que pour les produits pharmaceutiques, a officiellement inauguré sa première usine de transformation de légumineuses, après seulement un an et demi de travaux de construction. Cette nouvelle usine est le fruit d’un investissement d’environ 50 millions d’euros réalisé par le groupe Südzucker, auquel appartient BENEO, sur son site allemand d’Obrigheim, en Rhénanie-Palatinat. Des légumineuses, telles que la féverole locale, y sont transformées en ingrédients pour la production de denrées alimentaires et d’aliments pour animaux. Pour marquer l’occasion, une cérémonie d’inauguration spéciale s’est tenue le 11 avril en présence de Daniela Schmitt (ministre des affaires économiques de Rhénanie-Palatinat), Nicole Eicher (maire d’Obrigheim), Dr Niels Pörksen (CEO du Groupe Südzucker), Olivier Roques (CEO de BENEO GmbH), Niels E. Hower (Member of the Executive Board de BENEO GmbH) et Dirk Dinger (président du conseil d’entreprise de l’usine d’Obrigheim).
