Milliken delivers chemistry with a purpose at K 2022
At this year’s K 2022 trade fair in Dusseldorf on October 19-26, Milliken & Company, a diversified global manufacturer with more than 70 locations around the world, will showcase new measures to advance the circular economy through chemistry—part of the company’s 2025 Sustainability Goals. Additionally, Milliken is partnering with more than 30 partners in purposeful collaborations that will be on display throughout the K Show , including its ongoing partnership with PureCycle Technologies, whose patented technology turns recycled polypropylene into virgin-like material.

Mondi and Fiorini International team up to develop new fully recyclable paper packaging for premium pasta
Mondi, a global leader in packaging and paper, in partnership with Fiorini International, a world leading converter and packaging producer based in Italy, has successfully created and launched a new fully recyclable paper packaging for a premium Italian pasta brand.
The European Union Innovation Fund has selected Project Air, a unique production facility for sustainable methanol in Stenungsund, Sweden, as one of 17 large-scale green tech projects to be granted more than EUR 1.8 billion. Project Air, which is a collaboration between Perstorp, Fortum and Uniper, has applied for EUR 97 million and the total investment is expected to amount to more than EUR 230 million.

Mondi, a global leader in packaging and paper, has partnered with Japanese consumer goods manufacturer Kao to create a recyclable, lightweight packaging solution for its Goldwell hair lightening products. The new stand-up pouch reduces plastic usage without compromising on strength and durability and thus supports Kao and its salon business in their efforts to reduce their environmental footprint and to help salons run their businesses more sustainably.
