Die Unternehmen entwickeln und unterstützen die gemeinsam in die Normierung eingebrachten Steckgesichter der IEC 63171-2 (Büroumgebung) und IEC 63171-5 (Industrieumgebung). Die Normen definieren IP20- und IP65/67-Steckgesichter für die ein- und vierpaarige Datenübertragung in Single-Pair-Ethernet-Anwendungen.
