The full range of Stamylan P polypropylene resins manufactured by SABIC is now being distributed throughout the Nordic region by Distrupol, a member company of Univar and leading polymer distributor, technical service provider and application development partner.

DOW CORNING TO INTRODUCE NEW GENERATION OF INSULATOR COATING AT IEEE 2003
Midland, Mich. (August 1, 2003) – Dow Corning Corp. will launch its Sylgard® brand High Voltage Insulator Coating Plus (HVIC+), a new generation of high voltage insulator coating, at the IEEE/PES Transmission & Distribution Conference & Exposition held in Dallas, Texas, September 8-10, 2003 (Booth #1556, Hall B).
Toledo, Ohio, July 30, 2003 – Owens Corning and Saint-Gobain stated today that they will locate their previously announced joint manufacturing venture in Xicohtencatl, Tlaxcala, Mexico, adjacent to a Saint-Gobain Vetrotex America facility. This joint venture will deliver the highest quality glass fiber reinforcements products to the growing composites marketplace. Construction is expected to begin in early August.

Univar Ltd’s Pharma Division, formerly known as the pharmaceutical division of Anstead International and the leading distributor of ingredients to the pharmaceutical industry in the UK, announced that they are extending their distribution agreement with DMV International to incorporate its high performance disintegrants: Primojel® and Primellose®. DMV recently added these to their existing product range and will use Univar Pharma’s unrivalled customer base to market these excipients in the UK and Ireland.

Ces bagues d’usure sont fabriquées dans un composite à base de PEEK (polyétheréthercétone) renforcé aux fibres de carbone. Elles présentent une excellente résistance aux produits chimiques, des propriétés anti-rayure et anti-grippage, un faible coefficient de frottement et une bonne résistance aux chocs. En outre, ce matériau résiste parfaitement aux chocs thermiques importants.
