Omron cuts power switching down to size
The new J7KNU contactor from Omron, which is the smallest device of its type and rating currently available anywhere in Europe, is ideally suited for a wide range of applications where a compact, dependable and easy-to-use power switching solution is needed. Although it measures only 35.5 x 35.5 x 33 mm, the J7KNU contactor has a 2.2 kW AC3 rating and is available in three- and four-pole versions with AC or DC coils and as reversing contactor with mechanical interlock.

These cables now have ECE R118.02 approval and meet the fire protection standards required for use in the European transportation industry.
