DSM launches EcoPaXX in insulating profiles for aluminum windows
Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, says producers of aluminum window systems can make more sustainable products by using insulating profiles made from its EcoPaXX® polyamide 410, a polymer with a bio-based content of 70%. Aluminum window suppliers are looking for new ways to bring more sustainable products to the market, and EcoPaXX provides them with an excellent opportunity to do so.

Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products, the global leader of machinable plastics, has achieved NORSOK M-710 compliance for its Ketron® 1000 PEEK (natural) injection molded and extruded stock shapes. The engineering plastics manufacturer is the first in its industry to receive the certification under the most severe sour multiphase fluid ageing test environment with the highest H₂S levels.
The Netherlands, 9 July 2013 - Air France-KLM will further cut tonnes from its annual aircraft carbon dioxide emissions, simply by using revolutionary new lightweight cargo nets that it is now introducing. Just one new lightweight net with Dyneema® will save Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo over 210 gallons of kerosene fuel per year. That means CO2 emissions will be over 2.5 tonnes less per net per year.
In Pietermaritzburg, the capital of KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa, city officials were faced with replacing 2,200 meters of ageing metal water pipes as part of their 10 year plan to fight leakages.
