Crafted by Ted Brewer, an established U.K. designer of transparent violins, the ultramodern Vivo2 line features GE Plastics’ Lexan* Visualfx* special effects resin for stunning visual impact combined with high performance. Ted, who originally hand-carved his instruments from acrylic block, turned to GE Plastics when increasing market demand prompted a move to injection molding. GE Plastics color experts helped Ted turn his vision for the Vivo2 into an eye-catching reality.

CHEMTURA INTRODUCES MORE EFFICIENT FIREMASTER® FLAME RETARDANT PRODUCTS
MIDDLEBURY, CT – Chemtura Corporation (Crompton/Great Lakes) has introduced Firemaster® 600 and Firemaster® 602, two new flame retardants for flexible polyurethane foam that are approximately 10% more efficient than Firemaster® 550 and Firemaster® 552. Each of these new products exhibits outstanding scorch resistance, minimal effect upon foam processing, physical properties and cigarette smolder as well as a favorable environmental profile. FiremasterR 602 is specifically recommended for mechanically cooled foams. Chemtura is a leading global manufacturer of fire retardants, which reduce or eliminate the flammability of a wide range of combustible materials.
URMOND (NL), 27 June 2006 - The first of 25,000 new protective vests for Dutch Law Enforcement was presented today to the Royal Dutch Police Services (KLPD).
