DSM Functional Coatings today announced the further optimization of its KhepriCoat™ solar anti-reflective coating system. The improvements have already resulted in a significant contribution to the first multicrystalline-silicon solar panels in the world to achieve a conversion efficiency of 17%, which were produced recently by REC and ECN (Energy research Center of the Netherlands).

Belden has added two new bus coupling and six new I/O modules to its range of Lumberg Automation™ LioN-Link I/O systems. These new products enable users - for the first time – to control electrical drives over Profibus, facilitate networking of intelligent sensors and actors, complete simple retrofitting or upgrading of machines, deliver safety applications and/or decentralize power supply.

SÃO PAULO, Brasil: 9 de diciembre de 2009 – Owens Corning ha anunciado hoy la instalación de máquinas tejedoras de fibra de vidrio en su fábrica de Rio Claro, al noroeste de São Paulo (Brasil), lo que duplica su capacidad de fabricación de tejidos técnicos de fibra de vidrio. Una parte de la nueva capacidad comenzó la producción en septiembre; el resto se instalará a finales de año.

AMSTERDAM, December 3, 2009 – Moog’s Industrial Group, a division of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B), announced today that the new state-of-the-art Blade Test Center Gujarat (BTCG), owned by the Suzlon Group, the world’s third largest wind turbine manufacturer, has successfully completed tests on a new wind turbine rotor blade using a Moog test system.

East Aurora, November 12, 2009 - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) has completed the integration of the Insensys acquisition and will now market all of its offerings under the Moog brand. Insensys individual pitch control and rotor blade monitoring systems for wind turbines have been incorporated into Moog’s product portfolio on a global basis. This strengthens and extends Moog’s range of pitch control solutions for the wind energy industry. Moog completed the acquisition of Insensys in April 2009.
