PPG earns 'Metal of Honor' award from Metal Roofing magazine

PPG and Airbus donate China Daily subscriptions to students
Tianjin, April 30, 2008 - PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG) and Airbus have donated one-year subscriptions of China Daily newspapers to 100 less privilleged students from Nankai University and Tianjin University.
April 28 2008, Pittsburgh - PPG Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chuck Bunch spoke bluntly about the challenges that energy and climate change issues are forcing on industries, businesses and individuals. 
The plant is located in Sittard-Geleen, the Netherlands, where DSM has its worldwide R&D center. Since the announcement of PA4T, the new polymer for high performance engineering thermoplastics, in September 2007 numerous trials at selected customers have been completed. The initial results and customer feedback are very positive. With the opening of the market development plant access of customers to PA4T will be extended.
