Borouge 2 moves ahead with new contract awards
Borouge’s proposed major expansion ("Borouge 2") of its world scale petrochemical complex in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) has made further headway with the award of four contracts.
December 2003 - Borouge announces its intention to expand existing Borstar capacity from 450 kilotonnes (kts) to 600 kts per annum, as well as a feasibility study to form a 1.4 million tonne world scale petrochemical complex at Ruwais, Abu Dhabi in the UAE.
