AVERY DENNISON “WRAP LIKE A KING” CHALLENGE WINNER ANNOUNCED
Mentor, Ohio, October 15, 2013 – Avery Dennison announced today that “Brand New Mercedes Benz SLS63 AMG Wrapped by DBX in Ultra Matte Red Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Film” by Ara Hakobyan from Diamond Black Exteriors, won the grand prize in the “Wrap Like a King” Challenge featuring Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Films.
Uwe Wascher, one of the co-founders of Polyscope, is to be honored by the Society of Plastics Engineers' European Automotive Division with its lifetime achievement award. The award will be formally handed over by SPE representatives on Monday 21 October at 14.00 hrs on the Polyscope booth in Hall 5/stand E08 at K 2013.

Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences Company, has signed an agreement with Petropol Polimeros, a leading engineering plastics compound producer in South America with more than 20 years' experience in engineering plastics. Under the terms of the agreement, which became effective on Oct 1st 2013, Petropol Polimeros will produce Akulon® polyamide 6 compounds, which DSM will market and sell to its customers throughout South America. Financial details were not released.
