Owens Corning names Chuck Dana President of its Composite Solutions Business
Toledo, Ohio, January 28, 2004 – Owens Corning announced today that Chuck Dana has been named president of the company’s Composite Solutions Business. The Composite Solutions Business produces and supplies a wide variety of fiberglass material solutions to numerous manufacturing industries including automotive, marine, wind energy and telecommunications.

Growing global demand for Arnitel® TPE-E (thermoplastic elastomer ether ester block copolymer) has brought about a planned expansion of the Emmen, Netherlands, DSM Engineering Plastics plant. The expansion will add an additional 25% capacity by mid 2004 and is the second such increase in Arnitel® production in the last five years. Arnitel® innovation and production is centred in emmen, and from here product is shipped worldwide. 
Merelbeke, Belgium, Dec. 15, 2003 – conTeyor, the leading European provider of textile-based packaging and materials handling solutions to automotive OEMs and tiers, has started-up a production facility in Mexico on August 1, 2003. The facility is located at Irapuato, two and a half hours drive North of Mexico City.
Uwe Marburger (44) hat ab 1. Oktober 2003 die Position des Marktentwicklers für Norddeutschland und Benelux übernommen. Herr Marburger hat einen Abschluss als Diplom Ingenieur im Bereich der Kunststofftechnik und war 14 Jahre als Entwicklungsingenieur in verschiedenen Bereichen von DOW Deutschland tätig. Zuletzt war Herr Marburger 3 Jahre für RTP Deutschland im Bereich Spezialitäten Compounds tätig. Er verfügt über viel Erfahrung in den Bereichen Entwicklung und Vertrieb von HT Thermoplasten.
