SONGWON Industrial Group publishes Financial Results for Q2/2020
SONGWON Industrial Group (www.songwon.com) today announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2020. Over the quarter, the Group achieved consolidated sales of 198,145 Mil. KRW which, when compared to Q2/2019, marked a 9.3% decrease in revenue. However, the year-to-date (YTD) June 2020 sales revenues of 408,688 Mil. KRW were comparably in line with and remained almost at the same level as the first six months of 2019 (408,884 Mil. KRW). In Q2/2020, the Group saw its gross profit margin increase by 1.4%-points to 21.1% over Q1/2020.

Magnum launches new tubs made using certified circular polypropylene from SABIC’s TRUCIRCLE™ portfolio
Magnum, the world’s favorite ice cream brand, has today announced the roll out of more than 7 million ice cream tubs made with certified circular polypropylene from SABIC’s TRUCIRCLE™ initiative that uses feedstock made from recycling used, mixed plastic. The launch represented the “world’s first” tub within the ice cream industry that contains recycled plastic and that aims to contribute towards the challenge of keeping plastic waste out of the environment and in the value chain.

The PURO hotel in Warsaw, designed by the renowned JEMS Architekci workshop, proves that every success story begins with a good design and a careful selection of materials. The glass by Guardian used in this project made it possible for the facade of the hotel to start a dialogue with surrounding tenements, allowing them to reflect their ornamental facades in its crystal surface.

SABIC fast tracks thermoplastics orders for Mindray and DIRUI to expedite rapid production of critical COVID-19 equipment
