Alpha Packaging expandiert in Europa und übernimmt holländisches Werk von Graham Packaging Company
ST. LOUIS, MO (USA) – 7. November 2017 – Alpha Packaging Inc. hat heute die Übernahme eines Werks in Etten-Leur (Niederlande) von Graham Packaging Company bekanntgegeben. Die Transaktion – über deren Details die Vertragspartner Stillschweigen vereinbart haben – wurde am 2. November 2017 abgeschlossen.

DSM unterzeichnet Vereinbarung über Technologiepartnerschaft mit der Toyota Motorsport GmbH
Royal DSM, ein wissenschaftsbasiertes Unternehmen mit weltweiten Aktivitäten in den Bereichen Gesundheit, Ernährung und Materialien, hat eine ‚One DSM‘ Rahmenvereinbarung über technologische Zusammenarbeit mit der Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) unterzeichnet, einer 100-prozentigen Tochtergesellschaft der Toyota Motor Corporation. Die Vereinbarung erstreckt sich auf alle DSM-Geschäftseinheiten, die der Automobilindustrie Werkstoffe und Technologien liefern. Dies umfasst Engineering Plastics (technische Kunststoffe), Dyneema® (ultrahochmolekulare Polyethylenfasern) und 3D-Druckmaterialien, einschließlich Somos® für Stereolithografie (SLA) und weitere Verfahren wie Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF).

Clariant's sunliquid® cellulosic ethanol technology to support China's 2020 bioethanol-gasoline mandate
Shanghai, November 6, 2017 – Clariant, a world-leader in specialty chemicals, introduced its sunliquid technology for the production of cellulosic ethanol, a second generation biofuel, at its media event in Beijing today. The sunliquid technology effectively converts agricultural residues such as cereal straw, into cellulosic ethanol for vehicles. This new technology can contribute to China's plans to use a bioethanol-gasoline nationwide by 2020 as recently announced by the National Development and Reform Commission and National Energy Administration (NEA).

Met die dringende boodschap komt het CBRB tijdens zijn Binnenvaart Jaardiner op 24 november dat als thema heeft De groene versnelling. Tempo is nu echt vereist, stelt deze brancheorganisatie. Het CBRB is dan ook positief over het kabinetsplan om met de sector een Green Deal te sluiten.
