Dankzij de samenwerking tussen DSM en Starboard worden afgedankte visnetten omgezet in hoogwaardige componenten voor surfplanken
Koninklijke DSM, een op wetenschap gebaseerde internationale onderneming die actief is op het gebied van voeding, gezondheid en duurzaam leven, en Starboard, een internationale toonaangevende watersportonderneming die paddle- en kiteboards en surf- en windsurfplanken produceert, hebben bekend gemaakt dat ze afgedankte visnetten aan het verzamelen en opwaarderen zijn. Ze maken hiervan materiaal voor consumentenartikelen, zoals componenten voor surfplanken. Door middel van deze samenwerking dragen de bedrijven bij aan stranden zonder zwerfafval, een schoner zeemilieu, en een positieve sociale invloed op lokale gemeenschappen in India.
