Eastman Increases Specialty Plastics Prices
Eastman Chemical Company has announced a global increase in the prices of its specialty plastics products effective May 1, 2003. A price increase of US$0.07 per pound (US$0.15 per kilogram) will affect competitive prices for DuraStar polymer, Provista copolymer, Eastar copolyester, Ecdel elastomer, Eastalloy polymer, Eastman copolyester, Eastapak polyester, Eastapak polymer and Spectar copolyester. This increase will include all color concentrates and additives.
