Con la nuova serie FR3, KRAIBURG TPE ha sviluppato la terza generazione di mescole destinate ad ambienti che richiedono i più elevati standard di protezione antincendio. Sono stati soddisfatti tutti i requisiti della norma europea DIN EN 45545-2 per le applicazioni ferroviarie. Oltre alle proprietà antincendio, i composti TPE della serie FR3 presentano altre caratteristiche che li rendono ideali per l'uso in ambienti difficili, come ottimi valori di compressione e una maggiore resistenza allo strappo. Poiché i cavi elettrici sono spesso installati con parti in plastica multicomponente, sono importanti anche un'eccellente adesione al PP e la lavorabilità nei processi standard di stampaggio a iniezione ed estrusione.
