SABIC debuts new copolymer resin for PV connectors, delivering highest CTI level to support emerging 1.5Kv systems
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, launched today a breakthrough polycarbonate (PC)-based copolymer resin, well-suited for photovoltaic (PV) connector bodies, that meets stricter performance and regulatory requirements for emerging 1.5Kv solar systems. The new LNP™ EXL9334P copolymer resin achieves the highest comparative tracking index (CTI) level (UL PLC0) and IEC as Material Group 1 (IEC MG 1). It also delivers low-temperature ductility, good dimension stability, excellent heat resistance, good durability and weather resistance and flame retardance. With high performance across all key properties, this specialty resin surpasses competitive materials such as glass-reinforced nylon, polyphenylene ether (PPE) and standard PC. Customers could also benefit from the cost-effective design flexibility and processing efficiency of this injection-molding thermoplastic.

Come partedel continuo investimento , GCR Group ha annunciato la recente apertura di un centro dedicato alla Ricerca & Sviluppo in Spagna, a La Bisbal del Penedés, provincia di Tarragona. Il progetto di questo "Centro di Innovazione" è quello di aggiungersi a 20 anni di esperienza nella tecnologia dei materiali e sviluppare soluzioni basate sui polimeri che permettano di ridurre l’impatto ambientale a breve e lungo termine. L'investimento complessivo dell'azienda ammonterà a 100 milioni di euro entro il 2025. Insieme al nuovo impianto di riciclo d'avanguardia da 200.000 tonnellate che verrà aperto nel 2023, questi investimenti riflettono lavisione a lungo termine creata in occasione della fondazione dell'azienda nel 2001; Innovare il nostro futuro sostenibile’.

SONGWON Industrial Group announces sound Q3 2022 results
SONGWON Industrial Group today published its financial results for the 3rd quarter of 2022. During the quarter, the Group achieved consolidated sales of 350,731 Million KRW and reported a net profit of 41,376 Million KRW. When compared to the sales (Q3/2021: 260,137 Million KRW) and net profit (Q3/2021: 20,972 Million KRW), recorded in previous year, this marked an increase of 34.8% and 97.3% respectively. In Q3/2022, SONGWON reported a slight decline in its gross profit margin of 1.8%-points compared to Q3/2021.
