Owens Corning presenta il nuovo roving diretto a basso tenore di fibre cave SE 8400 per applicazioni ad alta tensione
PARIGI, Francia: 5 aprile 2005 – Al JEC Composites Show, oggi Owens Corning ha presentato il SE 8400 LS, un nuovo roving diretto Type 30® in grado di rispondere ai rigorosi requisiti elettrici delle applicazioni FRP poltruse, come gli isolatori ad asta lunga per trasmissione e distribuzione (T&D) di alta e media tensione. Il SE 8400 LS combina i benefici elettrici, meccanici e di resistenza alla corrosione dell'E-glass Advantex® senza boro attraverso l'impiego di tecnologie per la fusione del vetro e di tecnologie avanzate per la produzione di filamenti a basso tenore di fibre cave, garantendo così livelli ben al di sotto di 0,5 semi/grammo. Riducendo al minimo la quantità di bolle microscopiche o "semi" nel vetro si evita la formazione di filamenti cavi, che aumentano la conduttanza, e si spiana pertanto la strada verso l'ottenimento della minima resistenza all'energia elettrica, evitando così il rischio di avarie degli impianti.

RCS bietet Kompetenz für Heizung und Kühlung

The joint ECMSA (European Chemical Marketing and Strategy Association) and CWD (Chemical World Database) held March 15th in Brussels, “Pros, Cons and Experiences of the China Investment Boom” provided a significant industry audience with genuine insight into the issues facing European chemical suppliers when engaging with the Chinese market.
