Clariant Launches Amide/Amine-Free Anti-Static Concentrate for Clean-room and API Films
Muttenz, September 26, 2017 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announces a new amide/amine-free anti-static masterbatch concentrate for polyethylene films used in pharmaceutical production. The new anti-stat, known under grade name MEVOPUR PEAM 176045, will be introduced at CPhI Worldwide, being held 24 - 26 October 2017 at Messe Frankfurt. Clariant is exhibiting on Stand 42L20.

Clariant to increase prices for products containing titanium dioxide and/or carbon black pigments
Muttenz, September 21, 2017 – Clariant, a world leader in masterbatches and specialty compounds, has today announced a price increase globally for all products containing titanium dioxide and/or carbon black pigments by between 5%-10% (depending on the grade, concentration and quality of the titanium dioxide and/or carbon black).

Subject to merger control clearance, the contract shall become effective. The multi-million CHF investment of Clariant’s Performance Additives business and Tiangang will establish a world-class production facility in China to meet the growing local demand for process and light stabilizer additives in various growing industries such as textiles or automotive.
