Milliken & Company Tracks Progress on Sustainability Initiatives in Fourth Annual Sustainability Report
Today, diversified global manufacturer Milliken & Company published its fourth annual Sustainability Report, a key reporting component in the company’s progress toward its 2025 Sustainability Goals. In 2019 Milliken laid out 12 sustainability goals, focused on its people, its products and the planet, as a roadmap to achieving a healthier tomorrow. Thomas Ott appointed new CEO for Mondi Flexible Packaging and Engineered Materials
Thomas Ott, 54, has been appointed CEO of the Flexible Packaging and Engineered Materials business units at Mondi, a global leader in packaging and paper, earlier this year.
Mondi, a global leader in packaging and paper, has joined forces with French machine supplier Thimonnier to develop a recyclable packaging that reduces plastic waste.

KRAIBURG TPE has implemented a new system at the production facilities at its main site in Waldkraiburg, Bavaria. It enables quick changeover between temperature-controlled tooling inserts in injection molding processes in order to gain precise data on the fluidity, surface quality, and adhesion of specific material compounds. This makes fulfilling customer requirements more efficient.
Leading specialty chemicals company Perstorp plans to have extra capacity of around 70,000 tonnes/yr. for production of carboxylic acids onstream during 2024. The investment will enable Perstorp to increase output significantly and strengthen its position as the sustainable solutions provider. Increased capacity will meet growing demand in various high-value applications, including non-phthalate plasticizers for PVC, engineered fluids for applications such as refrigeration lubricants, and various propionates used in food preservation and carboxylic acids for use in animal feed gut health and preservation products. Most of the output will be used in downstream production operated by Perstorp itself.
