Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced today that MetroWrapz of Hollywood, Florida earned the title of “King of the Wrap World” for its Mission Flyer 2.0 vehicle wrap. The crowning of the new champ of the “Wrap Like A King” Challenge took place in the Avery Dennison booth at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

Mondi joins forces with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and UN to eliminate plastic waste and pollution
Vienna, 29 October 2018 – Mondi, a global leader in packaging and paper, has today become one of the first signatories of The New Plastics Economy Global Commitment which will work towards eliminating plastic pollution and creating 100% reusable, recyclable, or compostable plastic packaging by 2025.
At the upcoming RISI Asia Pacific Hygiene Products Symposium, SABIC will unveil an innovative new polypropylene (PP) resin product engineered to deliver enhanced properties in melt-blown fibers for nonwoven fabrics. The new product, designated SABIC® PP 514M12, can serve a wide range of potential end-uses in personal hygiene applications and other market segments. It is the first grade of a new family of high-flow resin compounds which SABIC started to develop only two years ago, and is expected to be commercially available by end of 2018.
Shenyang Minghua Mould & Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. (Minghua), a leading supplier of automotive exterior parts for premium OEMs, has selected ELIX Polymers ABS H801 for spoiler and aeroblade parts for the new BMW X5, X7, and X6M cars. This follows an intensive collaboration between Minghua and ELIX Polymers.
ELIX Polymers is launching a new line of ABS products under the brand name Chemical Compliance (CC) for applications that include toys, cosmetic containers, and products that come into contact with food. The aim of the new range is to satisfy the requirements of consumers increasingly concerned about the safety aspects of materials that day-to-day products are made from. Reinforced standards applied during production of CC grades will enable ELIX to offer additional guarantees on regulatory compliance during the lifetime of finished products.
Mondi recently spun off a new, paper-based line of dog food packaging based on its FlexziBox concept, which until now had been entirely plastics-based.
